Crisis Care

If you've experienced a death in your family, lost a job, or something has happened that turned your world upside down, we are here to help. 

For immediate assistance, please call 712-276-5814 x 2.  For after hours support, please follow the answering service prompts.

Hospital Visitations

If you have an unexpected or planned hospitalization and would like someone from Sunnybrook's Care Ministry team to support you, please complete the care request form.

Counseling 

Sometimes it can be helpful to talk with someone about spiritual questions, struggles in life, marriage matters, parenting challenges, grief/loss experiences and relationship issues. We are here to provide support. This support can include connecting with a non-licensed volunteer counselor from our Revive Counseling Ministry, which is a confidential, safe and a personal one-on-one ministry. It can also include referrals to local licensed or non-licensed Christian counselors for ongoing counseling.

Correctional Ministry

Various ministry opportunities exist through the Woodbury County Jail, the Residential Treatment Facility, federal probation and beyond to share the hope and love of Jesus with those who are incarcerated and/or transitioning back into the community. Support Groups

Recovery/ Assault

Celebrate Recovery is a biblical and balanced program designed to help those struggling with hurts, habits and hang-ups by showing them the loving power of Jesus Christ through a recovery process. Celebration Place is a children's resource that complements our Celebrate Recovery program. It is for children 5-13 years and takes place on Thursday evenings at 6:30pm. It is designed to help lead kids in making Jesus the foundation of their lives; break cycles of dysfunction; and join their parents in forgiveness and healing.

Sexual Assault-Our Sexual Assault Ministry provides one-on-one support for survivors to walk through this difficult time. You will experience hope and encouragement to press forward with healing and restoration. For more information contact Rachel at   

Grief/ Post Abortion

GriefShare is a 13 week support group for people grieving the death of a loved one whether the death is recent or not. It's a place where you can be around people who can relate to how you feel and the pain of your loss. At GriefShare, you'll learn valuable information that will help you through this difficult time in your life. Groups available at Sunnybrook and in Le Mars, IA.

Grief Support for Teens- This is a grief support group for any teenager who has experienced the death of a loved one and will utilize the adult GriefShare material.

Bereaved Mothers Group- Sharing Hope by Connecting in Community. A supportive community for mother's who have experienced the death of a child of any age. This will occur through group connection and monthly gatherings on the second Tuesday of each month at 6:30pm.

DivorceCare is a 13-week support group that covers relevant topics for anyone separated or divorced. Through a video lesson and group discussion, participants will learn about topics such grief, forgiveness and anger.
