Day 14 Who Am I?

June 14, 2025

Scripture: 2 Corinthians 12:9-11 But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.

Devotion: An ambassador always represents their country. Even when they may have their own personal views or emotions, they have to be the representative of the people and the nation’s best interests. Similarly, as an ambassador of Christ, you don’t represent yourself. You always represent God.

Paul writes in 2 Corinthians, whatever comes his way, he will delight in it. For in his weakness, Christ is magnified. What would that look like in our own lives? It is desiring to reflect God in every moment, whether magnificent or mundane.

As an ambassador, we can magnify Christ…

…Waiting In the line at the coffee shop

…When someone cuts you off in traffic

…In a difficult conversation at work

…When you lose your patience with your kids

…Amid a disagreement with your spouse

…Having a meal with your family

…When someone pays for your drive through order

… Checking out at the grocery store

Whether we are caught in a moment of weakness, looking to Him for strength, or noticing His presence all around us, we represent God in our response and our interactions. We can thank Him that His grace is sufficient for us every single day as we look to be ambassadors for the Lord and His kingdom.

Reflect:

  • Pray for the opportunity to reflect Christ and represent Him today.
