Scripture: Acts 2:46-47 Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.
Devotional: The early church was a community that was so in love with Jesus that other people saw the love of Jesus, wanted the love of Jesus, and the Lord added to their number daily of those who were being saved into the kingdom of God.
That is our call as well. We have one divine purpose, one divine calling from our Heavenly Father. That is to live in such a way that our love is on display in the community in which we live, so much so, that others are drawn into that community and to the Savior we love and serve.
It stands to reason then, that we must ask ourselves:
- Are we living in that kind of community here in our church?
- If not, why not?
- If we are, how are we inviting others in?

- Ask God what steps He might be nudging you toward to invite others into your community so that they might experience His transforming love and grace.
